Truth Remains
Verse I pt. I: Indulging, It holds me in its grip
Verse I pt. II: Without perception, to move beyond
I can never escape, this primal call
Verse I pt. III: Sacrificing, every part of me
Verse I pt. IV: Seeking answers, I will never find
The truth remains, In what we left behind
Chorus I: Drifting Further, Who are we to decide?
Petrified, What are we hiding inside
Drag Me Down, Over the edge of my very existence
Walking the line
Circling through the pain, confined to fail again
Verse II pt. I: Atrocity, I can never forget
Verse II pt. II: Without perception, to move beyond
I can never escape, this primal call
Verse II pt. III: Guilt, Eating me inside
Verse II pt. IV: Seeking answers, I will never find
The truth remains, In what we left behind
Chorus II: Drifting Further, Who are we to decide?
Petrified, What are we hiding inside
Drag Me Down, Over the edge of my very existence
Walking the line
Circling through the pain, confined to fail again
Bridge: Again!~
Verse III pt. I: Eternally, We are condemned
Verse III pt. II: Will we be, our own end of days
Or will we find solace in our ways
Verse II pt. III: Absolution, Our last escape
Verse II pt. IV: Seeking answers, I will never find
The truth remains, In what we left behind
Chorus III: Drifting Further, Who are we to decide?
Petrified, What are we hiding inside
Drag Me Down, Over the edge of my very existence
Walking the line
Circling through the pain, confined to fail again
This is their most black metal sounding album. Later albums started to sound like modern metal or with hints of djent influence.
Great debut by the band. I love Dark Souls and black metal, so this is great! Sid

Pretty much the best Black/Speed Metal I've listened to since I learned about Evil Invaders and Vulture. Everything you'd love to be reminded of about this musical era is there. The influences are what you'd expect too: Motörhead, Venom, Bathory, early Slayer, Celtic Frost; aggressive vocals, tortured guitar solos, pounding drums; everything is fast, clear and still a little grimy, but without reverb cranked up to the max. Amazing band, amazing album. Odiumediae
