lyrics
Intro: Born of the lifeless form, from beyond
Night penetrate the dawn, eternally
Verse I: Choices of your life
See the others die, your hands
The path of hate
Cycles of pain, torment
Guiding your hand
Nightmare unfolds, blinding
Desperately lost
See the prophets false, judgement
Pre Chorus I: Butchering the flesh, you must intake
Consuming the remains, prepare your fate
Reflection of your pain, you must endure
Tortured by restraints, of your mind
Chorus I: You, cannot unravel, the knots of
Time, tangled forever, interlocking
Fates, cut the string, and unravel
Pain, side by side, fates intertwined
Verse II: Spiraling down
Infinite lives, searching
Navigate the way
Death decays, all things
Time ticks on
Never ending pain, torment
To find the truth
I must empty, my hands
Pre Chorus II: Butchering the flesh, you must intake
Consuming the remains, prepare your fate
Reflection of your pain, you must endure
Tortured by restraints, of your mind
Chorus II: You, cannot unravel, the knots of
Time, tangled forever, interlocking
Fates, cut the string, and unravel
Pain, side by side, fates intertwined
Bridge:
Verse III: The weight of fate
The scales dictate, burning
In the end
Your power fades, worthless
Judge your life
Seal the lie, forever
Carried by the wind
Your soul escapes, quantum
Pre Chorus III: Butchering the flesh, you must intake
Consuming the remains, prepare your fate
Reflection of your pain, you must endure
Tortured by restraints, of your mind
Chorus III: You, cannot unravel, the knots of
Time, tangled forever, interlocking
Fates, cut the string, and unravel,
Pain, side by side, fates intertwined

i checked out bands coming to my town, and xoth were on the list. at first i thought they were cheesy since i only liked metal to be deep, dark, and atmospheric .
i did enjoy the technical complexity, so i gave them another chance. i equated shredding with jockishness (ugh), but i now see it as a creative choice. i just had to approach it on my own terms, and xoth was the perfect gateway for this. they really opened up a new world for me. quasiotter
Jordan Vauvert
